Is your horoscope correct?

My friend who is an astrologer told me this story.I am giving the story in his own words.I live in a locality since last ten years. When I shifted from my past residence to this place,I was among the first few residents of that place. There was a very small temple in that locality and a very young pandit of that temple. There was only one statue of Hanumanji in that temple.Pandit was working as a worker in some nearby factory. He used to come to the temple according to need of the people.Gradually people started coming in and living there. Not everybody was the devotee of Hanumanji so temple started growing in size and in number of Gods ,Durga devi ,Shiv ji , Santoshi ma,Sai baba and so on.Pandit left his job and became full time pandit and started growing in size with temple. I often go to the temple and sit there for some time for my pooja. Now I see people coming to the temple and touching that pandit's feet .They ask all type of questions to that pandit all type of astrological enquiry marriage muhurat, match making, health problems, family problems etc. When I am sitting there I feel like laughing hearing his answers. They will do according to his advice. He makes horoscopes of new born babies and people will keep those horoscopes with them as a very important document. They will use the horoscope through out their lives. They will reject marriage proposal based on that, they will fight bride/groom 's family for muhurat, they will take important decisions of their lives based on that.
There are two options you either believe in astrology or do not believe but what is this?If you believe in astrology then why don't you believe in correctness of horoscope. If you are educated you never go to a quack for your medical problems. You don't show your friend's X ray to a doctor because he has same symptoms as you have. If you think astrology is a science based on pure mathematical calculations ( I am talking about astrology and not other related branches).Do justice to astrology also.Like in medical science you don't get cure and correct diagnosis 100% of times, astrology can also be true guidance seventy percent of times

Corruption and Anna Hazare's movement

I am a very ordinary person and don't know what corruption actually means.when an IG level police officer says that he pays bribe to get his salary ,is that corruption. How many of us has not accepted it as a way of life which Anna Hazare is saying corruption.I was so innocent that first time when I applied my passport and inquiry officer asked me kuch chai pani to ho jai and I actually gave him tea with snacks and learned my first lesson of corruption.Everybody felt pity on me that I didn't know even such a simple thing of life.I don't know about the people gathered in RamLila Maidan but I could not gather courage to go there because I learned lessons of corruption at every step of my life and accepted it.I think supporting Anna Hazare in Ram Lila Maidan is easy then rejecting corrupt practices in our everyday life.

Is This Astology

I often hear of people's appalling stories about astrologers - astrologers pitilessly swindling money out of people, astrologers misguiding people by making them feel they are empowered to alter the consequences of their own choices.

When I was in middle school, I had a friend who was bright but truly lazy. Every semester, a few days before the examinations began, she would go see her family astrologer to seek guidance on successfully achieving a passing grade on her exams. The astrologer would recommend some worthless remedy such as “Feed a stray dog one day before your examinations and you shall be successful” and she would pay him handsomely for this. She somehow managed to make it through middle school. The first year of her high school, she did the same charade and was not able to pass all her examinations and went complaining to the astrologer. The astrologer was starting to get a little nervous now, because high school was no joke. Even my bright friend’s brains needed a little exercise with the course material to be able to pass all her exams. So, the clever astrologer suggested to her – “You were not able to pass all examinations because you did not feed the right dog. You must find a three-legged dog that has a black-colored right ear and a white-colored left ear”. My poor friend spent days looking for such a stray dog, running after every stray dog in the neighborhood and checking his ear. Needless to say, she ended up in the hospital a few days before her examination. She had been bit by a three-legged dog, who was evidently unhappy about her trying to pull its ear!”

Doesn’t this make you question: Is this astrology?
